As a result of these partnerships, our team is able to provide excellent customer service, diligent service response & action, as well as competitive pricing.
Waste Not Consulting provides a personal touch in designing, mapping, and implementing recycling programs that are effective and efficient. We provide an overview of the current waste management systems and technologies in place and take a deeper dive into crafting a recycling system that meets/exceeds the needs of the building. Our team provides ongoing management, education, and support to all of our clients.
The most comprehensive and resource intensive waste assessment is a waste audit. A waste audit is a study that characterizes the types of building wastes, where they come from and where they end up. The audit looks at the contents of the waste being disposed of to evaluate the current waste streams. The audit report will provide solutions for better diversion practices.
Waste Not Consulting provides monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual Sustainability Reporting geared towards waste diversion. Our reports are compliant with LEED O+M (re) certification requirements.
Benchmarking is a comparison of performance and process on a strict like-for-like basis. Waste Not Consulting provides benchmarking for the waste diversion (recycling) programs that we implement. Our benchmarking process allows our clients to see where they measured prior to us coming onboard, how they are currently measuring, and what their future projections of success are. We offer tangible evidence of improvement, providing the benchmark is revisited at a later date. It’s recommended that a benchmark exercise is carried out every six to eight months to derive most insight.
Our Zero Waste Programs help to identify new opportunities for recycling, reuse, and waste reduction, and to evaluate the effectiveness of waste management over time. We create and implement zero waste programs that are influenced by the TRUE Zero Waste certification process. These programs are tailored to fit the needs of the client with flexible goals ranging from a more successful recycling program that exceeds normal diversion benchmarking or for client who is seeking the TRUE Zero Waste Certification. Either way, our goal is to significantly reduce waste generation.
